Josh: Yes, it will. But we'll persevere, I'm certain. Speaking of, we're outta here. We'll have your tops and bottoms shortly.
Kim: I just didn't enjoy many of these people tonight. Picking a bottom three will be tough.
Josh: Beyond belief.
Kim: This isn't bad, but it certainly is boring.
Josh: It is indeed. But not before Brooke White sings.
Kim: It's about time for us to pick top and bottom threes, isn't it?
Josh: Parts were decent. Overall, though, I could do without it.
Kim: I don't know about David Archuleta's song. It wasn't bad, but I don't think it was his best, either.
Josh: OK, quick check with Votefortheworst.com reveals that the Kristy Lee is their choice. Hey, don't doubt the power of VTW. Those folks pushed Scott Savol and Sanjaya into the top 10. They're masters at this.
Kim: I don't like it, either. And I really don't get her wardrobe overall. It's like she's getting dressed in a completely different place. The Idol people are providing the clothes for all these people, and she must be getting last pick.
Josh: Agreed. I'm also happy to report that Carly ain't exactly knockin' it outta the park, either. And again, sleeveless.
Kim: Oh, I know what it was for. I just don't get why he did it. It seemed like a desperate vote-getting ploy.
Josh: It was for the "Idol Gives Back" thing tomorrow.
Kim: Agreed, again. And he's so cheesy. That hand thing at the end, what was that?
Josh: I am thrilled to report that David Cooks SUCKS badly this evening.
Kim: It was nice of the judges to make her feel good on her last night.
Josh: You believe this is a wrap for ol' Kristy, huh? I'm gonna .... agree. Although, that wasn't terrible.
Kim: I don't know about that. But I do think this is Kristy Lee's farewell tour tonight.
Josh: I like the Castro guy. Seems more genuinely talented than most of the others, if that makes sense. It's like the other folks -- The Davids, Michael, etc. -- have been trained to sing. But this guy is just singing.
Kim: I know. But you've been right a lot more than usual. That was good. What do you want me to say?
Josh: You're agreeing with me a lot.
Kim: Oooh, I like it.
Josh: This "Over the Rainbow" song from Jason could be really, really good.
Kim: You know, that's not a bad analysis. Surprising. I still liked Syesha's performance tonight.
Josh: Here's my problem with Syesha. Last week, she proved that she's limited with that Whitney Houston song. Now, there's no shame in not measuring up to the pre-crack Whitney. But don't do it on national TV during a singing competition.
Kim: I didn't care for Michael that much. It wasn't bad, but he's been much better. Syesha, though, is doing pretty well.
Josh: OK, Michael Johns has left the building on us. Got in and got out before we were ready. I thought it was aight.
Hey, guess who's almost on time for American Idol? That's right, we're here and watching while the show's actually on the air. Astonishing, I know.
OK, we've got one performance in the bag. (Sorry, this blog doesn't set itself up.) And we're ready to go.
